# Overlapping Locations Can't Be Used

*"Locations Can't Be Used - Some of your locations overlap. Try removing a location."* If you've received this message, some of your locations in your target audiences overlap. You may have two overlapping cities, or targeted a city as well as the state that city is in. There are a few steps you can take to help resolve this error.

## How to fix:

1. Select **Edit Ad Campaign.**
2. Go to the **Modify Target Audiences** step.
3. Click on each of your target audiences and remove any conflicting locations under the basic targeting section. (If you have multiple target audiences, you will need to change the locations on each of them.)
4. Select **Update Campaign.**

If you're experiencing any issues, please notify us at **via Get Help** chat and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
