StreamLinks are marketing landing pages for your upcoming broadcast, helping you get more viewers and followers across any platform.
Click Smart Links on the left-side navigation then +Create New Link Campaign on the right to start creating your StreamLink.
Select the platforms you wish to use for your livestream(s). The main streaming platforms we offer are Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Live, Zoom, and Instagram Live.
Input your broadcast channel URLs to configure your livestreaming platforms. We'll use this to automatically keep your schedule up to date and point viewers to the right platforms when you go live.
Press +Add A Stream Date and add the following information for your new livestream date:
• Stream Event Name
• Stream Description (Optional but Highly Recommended): Let your viewers know what you'll be livestreaming.
• Stream Start Date: Enter the date and time when your stream will start.
• Stream Duration (Optional but Highly Recommended): Give your viewers an idea of how long or short your stream will be live.
• Is this a reoccurring stream that repeats weekly on these days? Toggle Repeats Weekly, if so.
Select the channel which people will be prompted to subscribe to when a user RSVPs. They’ll receive a push notification on their preferred streaming app, helping drive mobile viewers directly to your stream when you’re live.
Fans can stay organized by adding your upcoming broadcast to their Google, iCal, or Outlook calendar. These features save viewers the frustration of having to hunt for the details of your upcoming streams.
Upload a featured image for your livestream. Recommended sizes: landscape (minimum 1024x768 pixels) or square (minimum 1000x1000 pixels).
You have the option to customize a page background image otherwise the default will be a blurred background of your featured image. Recommended size for a custom background: 1440x1024 pixels.
Pro-tip: A personalized background increases click rate by 20%.
You have two options when selecting your viewers livestreaming experience:
• Redirect Viewers: Automatically redirect your viewers and transition your landing page to the right streaming platform when you go live.
• Embedded Stream (aka TheaterMode): Show your stream on your landing page when you go live.
We provide you with the ability to control how your link displays on Facebook, Google, Twitter, and other social channels.
If you'd like your URL to have a specific name, change the short link information here.
We also offer the ability to add a subdomain, helping you brand consistently across your links. This will also provide you with the ability to promote your StreamLink for custom conversions. Here's a step-by-step to creating your own custom domain and connecting your domain for use with smart links:
If you plan on advertising to your fans and have connected your custom domain to your smart links—add your retargeting pixels here to track fans that visit your smart link. You have the ability to add the following retargeting pixels: Facebook, Google, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok. Don't have a pixel yet? Create one here.
To earn affiliate revenue on iTunes/Apple Music or Amazon, enter your affiliate code(s) on this page as well.
Retargeting allows you to serve ads directly to individuals who have clicked on your links in the past.
Customize the email notifications that are sent to everyone who RSVP's on your landing page. Include details on how they can access your livestream to avoid the “Zero Viewer Problem”: More RSVPs mean more viewers when your stream goes live!
Anyone who RSVPs to your upcoming broadcasts through a StreamLink automatically receives two email notifications before you go live:
• An email reminder 24 hours before your broadcast
• An email reminder 30 minutes before your broadcast
Customize the Sender Name and Intro Email Text and add a Reply to Email.
After you've double-checked everything and created a Campaign Name, press Create Link and you're good to go!
