Interest Targeting is a way to put your event ad campaign in front of people whose interests align with the type of event you are hosting! You can add interests and hobbies of the people you want your ad to reach - from organic food to action movies - and make your targeted ads more relevant.
Below is an example of what an audience interest list might look like for an event creator who is advertising a music festival:

Interest Audiences is one of the best types of audiences to use to go after new people that aren't familiar with your event but have an interest for the type of event that you are advertising.
Demographic - Choose your audience based on age, gender, education, job title and more. You can keep track of the types of people that your ads are reaching, but Facebook will never share personally-identifiable information about them.
Behavior - Target your ads based on consumer behaviors such as prior purchases and device usage.

Add 5-10 relevant interests
Quality > Quantity
Go more specific with audience interests if your budget is <$1000.
Go more broad with audience interests if your budget is >$1000.
Don't always use the default interests. - You might know your business a lot better than our recommendation algorithm does so don't be afraid to delete/add interests!
Audience size > 50k-100k
